I grew up as a Navy child, spending time along the east coast, as well as, overseas in Germany. After spending the majority of my life on the east coast, I decided to pick up my life and attend college in Colorado to Study Conservation Biology at CSU. Colorado captured my heart so I made the decision to stay after graduating.
As a part of Dr. Slack’s team, I assist patients by scheduling, insurance and billing, and general office support. My favorite part of the job is interacting and building relationships with our patients in our small mountain communities. I absolutely love the team; I consider them family. Everyone has a great sense of humor and genuinely cares about each other and our patients.
In my free time, you can find me skiing, hiking, attending town festivals, or catching some rays outside at a local brewery with friends.
I grew up in the front range, and after graduating high school I moved wherever the wind blew. I've lived all over the US and about 3 years ago moved back from living overseas in Italy. I started persuing my career in dentistry around that time and decided to get my dental asistant certification. I am currently expanding my education in the dental field and am preparing for a dental hygiene degree!
I spend my time with my two beautiful boys, Kai who is 9, and Kole who is 7, along with my boyfriend Ryan, and two dogs, Lucky and Murphy Brown. Our family loves doing everything the outdoors have to offer. My love for the mountains began as a child, and I am so fortunate to share that love with my boys.
I was raised in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Colorado with my husband Kevin in 2000. I was a dental assistant for more than 20 years before I made the life-changing decision to go back to dental hygiene school at Colorado North Western in Rangley, Colorado. I was so excited and never looked back! Dentistry is what I do—I love to make beautiful smiles. I have an understanding of patients and their fears and reservations of keeping up with their dental hygiene. My positive attitude helps guide patients through their cleaning and hygiene instructions with more clarity and understanding.
Kevin and I have been married for more than 20 years and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. In my free time you will find me at the top of the slopes, enjoying the stars in my tent, going off-roading my Jeep, and taking long cross county trips on Kevin’s motorcycle. I also have two little Shih-tzus named Big Al and Chuy.

I’m an Alaskan husky and love to talk up a storm. Some of you may have met me wandering the hiking trails throughout Leadville and Breckenridge. My favorite hobbies including playing in the snow, hiking, visiting friends at doggie daycare (the club where I’m the social director), spending time with my dad, and eating snacks.
